We want all families to enjoy a calm, supportive and joyful learning experience with BeBright+Fun.

This Refund Policy explains when refunds apply, and when they do not, in accordance with UK consumer law.

This policy applies to all purchases made through the BeBright+Fun website, platform, and checkout pages.

1. Digital Content — No Refunds After Access Begins

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (CCR), consumers normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital content.

However, by purchasing a BeBright+Fun programme, you:

1. Request immediate access to the digital content; and

2. Acknowledge that this waives your 14-day right to cancel.

This wording is displayed and must be ticked at checkout before completing payment.

Once you have ticked the consent box and submitted payment:
Your right to cancel is legally waived.
All sales become final.
No refunds are available.

This rule applies to all digital content including:

  • SATs lessons

  • wellbeing modules

  • videos

  • worksheets

  • animations

  • quizzes

  • comics and stories

  • downloadable or streamable materials

  • parent guides

2. Programmes Including Live Sessions (Mini Pods & 1:1)

Some tiers include a blend of digital content (delivered immediately) and live group sessions or 1:1 sessions.

Under UK law, when a product is sold as a combined digital service package, and when the customer requests immediate digital access, the entire package becomes non-refundable, even though part of it is delivered later.

Therefore, programmes with live Mini Pods or 1:1 mentoring are also strictly non-refundable. This applies whether or not you attend the sessions.

3. Missed Sessions, Scheduling & Child Engagement

Refunds or partial refunds are not offered for:

  • missed group lessons

  • missed 1:1 lessons

  • changes in schedule or availability

  • child disengagement or reluctance

  • academic progress outcomes

  • changes of mind

  • personal circumstances

  • holidays, illness, or school commitments

  • technology issues on the parent’s side

  • change in financial circumstances

We will always do our best to support your child’s progress, but missed sessions do not qualify for refunds or credits.

4. If We Cancel a Session

If BeBright+Fun must cancel a group or 1:1 live session for operational reasons, we will provide a replacement session or equivalent digital content/support.

This is the full extent of compensation available. Refunds are not provided.

5. Subscription / Payment Plans

  • All instalments must be completed.

  • Ending participation early does not cancel future instalments.

  • Non-payment may result in temporary suspension of access until resolved.

Payment plans are staged payments for a full programme and do not convert the programme into a monthly subscription.

Refunds are not available for completed or pending instalments.

6. Duplicate Purchases or Billing Errors

If a duplicate charge is made in error, a refund for the duplicate transaction only will be issued.

This must be reported within 14 days of the transaction appearing on your statement.

7. Technical Issues

We do not provide refunds for issues caused by:

  • internet connectivity

  • device incompatibility

  • firewall or parental control settings

  • user error

We will provide reasonable technical guidance, but cannot guarantee system performance on all devices.

8. Exceptional Circumstances

While we understand families may experience difficult situations, we cannot provide refunds for:

  • bereavement

  • illness

  • family disruption

  • school pressure

  • exams

  • competing priorities

  • child resistance

Instead, we will offer appropriate guidance and flexible use of digital materials where possible.

9. Legal Basis for No Refunds

  • CCR 2013, Regulation 37 — right to cancel is lost when immediate access is requested

  • Digital goods delivered instantly are non-refundable after access begins

  • Live lessons form part of the same non-refundable digital package

  • Consumer Rights Act 2015 — refunds only required if content is faulty or misdescribed

If a technical fault on our side prevents access to core content, we will correct it promptly.
