BeBright+Fun Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to ensuring that our website, learning platform, and digital content are accessible to all users, including children, parents and carers with disabilities or access needs.

Our goal is to provide a calm, supportive, and inclusive online experience so every family can access our programmes with confidence and ease.

This Accessibility Statement explains:

  • our current level of accessibility

  • the steps we are taking to improve accessibility

  • how you can request adjustments

  • how to report accessibility barriers

1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

We strive to meet the recognised international accessibility standard:

WCAG 2.2 AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)

Although we are not a public body, we use these standards because they reflect best practice for inclusive, child-friendly online learning.

We also align with:

  • Equality Act 2010 (duty to make reasonable adjustments)

  • ICO Children’s Code (age-appropriate design)

  • Safeguarding obligations for digital services involving children

Our commitment includes:

  • accessible design and readable text

  • clear navigation

  • captioned video content where possible

  • alt text for images

  • adjustable display settings (device dependent)

  • compatibility with screen readers

  • minimising flashing or overstimulating visuals

2. Where Accessibility Applies

This statement covers:

  • the BeBright+Fun website

  • the learning platform hosted through Kajabi

  • digital SATs lessons, videos and worksheets

  • wellbeing modules, comics, and animations

  • parent resources and guides

Some content is provided through third parties (e.g., embedded video players, Kajabi features). We cannot control these fully, but we work to choose providers that support accessibility.

3. Known Limitations

We are aware of the following accessibility challenges:

  • Some older worksheets (PDF format) may not yet be fully screen-reader compatible.

  • Some animated or comic-style content may not include audio descriptions.

  • Live sessions (Mini Pods and 1:1) currently do not offer automated captioning, though manual support can be provided.

  • Certain interactive elements are dependent on Kajabi functionality, which may have its own accessibility constraints.

We are constantly working to improve these areas.

4. How We Support Accessibility for Children

Because we serve children aged 8–12, we take extra measures:

  • simple, clear language

  • safe, structured navigation

  • minimal required reading for core interactions

  • accessible colour contrasts

  • gentle, non-overstimulating design

  • captions or subtitles where possible

  • calming, child-friendly pacing

Parents remain responsible for supervising their child’s use of the Platform and may support accessibility needs using their own device-level settings.

5. Reasonable Adjustments (Equality Act 2010)

We are committed to making reasonable adjustments to support accessibility needs.

Examples may include:

  • alternative formats (text versions, audio, simplified worksheets)

  • guidance for screen-reader navigation

  • support for scheduling or session participation

  • alternative delivery options for key materials

If your child or family requires adjustments, please contact us and we will work with you promptly to find a suitable solution.
