This Disclaimer applies to all digital content, live sessions, wellbeing modules, SATs preparation materials, and parent resources provided by BeBright+Fun Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”).

Please read this Disclaimer together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Safeguarding Policy and Terms of Sale.

1. Educational Content Only — Not Professional Advice

All materials on the BeBright+Fun platform are designed for general educational purposes only.

This includes:

  • SATs lessons and worksheets

  • wellbeing modules

  • comics, animations and stories

  • confidence, resilience and calm practices

  • parent guides

  • live Mini Pods and mentoring sessions

Our content is not intended to replace:

  • professional teaching consultations

  • clinical mental health support

  • counselling, therapy or medical advice

  • diagnosis or treatment of any condition

Parents remain responsible for their child’s overall learning, development, and wellbeing.

2. No Guarantee of Academic Results

While our programmes are carefully designed by qualified teachers and educational experts, we do not guarantee:

  • SATs results

  • grade improvements

  • admission to specific schools

  • academic performance

  • learning pace or engagement

Each child’s progress depends on multiple factors, including participation, home environment, consistency, and individual needs.

We aim to support improvement, but academic outcomes cannot be promised.

3. Wellbeing Content — Not Therapy or Clinical Intervention

Our wellbeing modules support:

  • confidence

  • emotional awareness

  • calm routines

  • resilience

  • motivation

  • positive mindset

However, this content:

  • does not constitute therapy;

  • is not a substitute for mental health treatment;

  • is not delivered by a regulated clinician;

  • should not be relied on for medical, psychological, or diagnostic decisions.

If a child displays signs of emotional distress, anxiety, self-harm, harm to others, or other wellbeing concerns, Parents must seek appropriate medical or professional support.

We do not provide therapeutic services or crisis support.

4. Parent Responsibility & Supervision

As an online learning service for Children aged 8–12, Parents acknowledge that they are responsible for:

  • supervising their child during use of our programmes;

  • ensuring a safe learning environment;

  • monitoring their child’s wellbeing;

  • reporting any safeguarding concerns;

  • ensuring appropriate device and internet safety settings;

  • supporting lesson pacing and scheduling.

Our programmes are designed to help Children, but active parent involvement is essential.

5. Accuracy of Information

We take reasonable steps to ensure our content is accurate, current and reliable.

However:

  • educational content may change over time;

  • curriculum requirements may update;

  • errors or omissions may occur;

  • third-party content or links may not always remain current.

We are not liable for the accuracy, completeness or suitability of content for every child or learning situation.

6. Fitness for Purpose

We cannot guarantee that:

  • the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free;

  • the content will be suitable for every child’s learning style;

  • a child will engage consistently with the programme;

  • wellbeing techniques will resonate with all Children equally.

Parents are encouraged to consider their child’s specific needs before purchasing a programme.

7. Live Sessions (Mini Pods & 1:1)

Where included, live sessions are delivered by tutors trained in safeguarding and educational practice.

However:

  • sessions are not therapy;

  • sessions do not constitute regulated mental health support;

  • behavioural outcomes during or after sessions cannot be guaranteed;

  • tutors cannot assess clinical mental health needs.

Parents must ensure their child participates appropriately and must remain available to supervise and support.

8. Not Responsible for External Factors

We are not responsible for:

  • technical issues on your device, network or browser;

  • interruptions due to internet connectivity;

  • software conflicts;

  • school commitments or schedule changes;

  • individual child motivation or engagement;

  • misunderstandings arising from Parent or Child misuse of the content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:

  • we exclude liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses;

  • we do not accept responsibility for misuse of content;

  • our liability is limited to the amount paid for the programme (where not otherwise lawfully excluded).

Nothing in this Disclaimer limits liability where unlawful to do so (e.g., fraud or negligence causing personal injury).

10. Testimonials & Success Stories

Testimonials reflect the experiences of individual families and:

  • do not guarantee future results;

  • are not typical for all users;

  • may be edited for clarity while preserving meaning.

Results vary significantly between Children.

We may update this Notice to reflect changes in law, updates to our services, or improvements to our programmes.

The “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
